Martin Jankovec, MSc., of Austrian nationality, is a qualified German patent attorney. He has been working in the field of intellectual property rights since 2013 and has experience in national and international patent prosecution and litigation.

He acquired both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in technical physics at Vienna University of Technology. His Master's degree thesis was in the field of medical physics. His main fields of technical expertise are renewable energies, information and communication technology, telecommunications, integrated circuits, print technology and optical measurement systems. After completing his studies, he worked in a development department at Siemens AG in the field of joint resource optimisation for power plants and grid-bottleneck management.

As well as prosecuting patent applications for small, medium and large companies at the German and European patent offices, Martin Jankovec also represents clients in appeal, opposition and nullity proceedings before the European Patent Office, the German Federal Patent Court and the European boards of appeal. He is regularly involved in infringement lawsuits for multinational companies.
