Matthias Göpfert is a German Patent Attorney, a professional representative before the European Patent Office and a European Trademark and Design Attorney. He has been working in the field of intellectual property protection since 2007. He advises and represents clients in all aspects of patent law.

After completing his studies in computer science at the University of the Bundeswehr in Munich he worked as a project manager and member in national/international projects in the field of defence, software development and information technology.

His main technical areas comprise information and communication technology, data and signal processing technology, electrical engineering as well as software and computer-related inventions.
